There are fantasy worlds that serve as a backdrop.
Then there are worlds that feel as though they existed long before the story began.
The Spirit Realm is one of those places.
As I looked at these pages again, I found myself wondering…
Is this place safe?
Are they friendly?
Why was Kali sent there?
To slow down enough to wonder what might exist in this world.
I think children do this naturally.
The spirit realm kind of reminds me of the Wizard of Oz and Munchkinland.
And all of the little mannamong are Munchkins.
Are they friends or foes?
